Ingredients

  • 4 skin-on salmon fillets
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in honey and Cajun seasoning, then remove from heat.
  3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Place the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  4. Spoon some of the honey butter mixture over the fillets, carefully flip them, and baste again before cooking for another 3-4 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily.
  5. Remove from skillet and let sit for a minute before serving. Drizzle with remaining honey butter for added flavor.
