Description

A comforting and flavorful dish made with tender chicken, crisp bacon, fresh broccoli, and gooey cheddar cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Boneless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 2 cups Fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup Sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 4 slices Bacon
  • 1 Onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Butter (or olive oil)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Herbs like thyme or rosemary

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy. Set aside on a paper towel to drain excess fat.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until the onion is translucent.
  3. Add boneless chicken, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned and cooked through, roughly 5–7 minutes per side.
  4. Fold in the fresh broccoli, cover with a lid, and steam for about 5 minutes until tender but still bright green.
  5. Stir in the crispy bacon and shredded cheddar cheese until melted and combined.
  6. Plate while hot, garnishing with extra bacon or fresh herbs, if desired.

Notes

Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor. Adjust seasonings to your liking.
