- 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, hulled and mashed
- 8 oz White Chocolate, chopped
- 1 cup Shortcake Cookies, crumbled
- 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Instructions
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and hull the strawberries, then mash them with a fork, leaving some chunks for texture.
- Make the Ganache: In a saucepan over low heat, combine heavy cream and white chocolate, stirring until melted. Remove from heat and fold in mashed strawberries and vanilla extract.
- Chill the Mixture: Allow to cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Form the Truffles: Scoop about a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball.
- Coat the Truffles: Roll each truffle in the crumbled shortcake cookies until well-coated.
- Chill Again: Place truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for another 30 minutes.
- Serve and Enjoy: Serve chilled and enjoy the smiles from your guests.
Notes
Feel free to substitute strawberries with raspberries or use milk chocolate instead of white chocolate, depending on your preference.
