Description
Deliciously soft and fluffy dinner rolls made gluten-free, perfect for any meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour blend
- 1 cup warm water
- 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
- 2 large eggs (or aquafaba for vegan version)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5 minutes until frothy.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour blend and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the yeast mixture, stirring until you have a thick dough. Add the olive oil and eggs, mixing until well combined.
- Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rise in a warm place for about 60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
- Grease a baking sheet. Scoop portions of dough and shape them into small balls, placing them on the prepared sheet about 1 inch apart.
- Cover the rolls with a towel and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the rolls for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown on top.
- Brush with melted butter before serving, if desired.
Notes
For herbed rolls, add fresh rosemary. To sweeten, consider honey or cinnamon.
