Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup frosting (buttercream or cream cheese)
  • White chocolate (for coating)
  • Gel food coloring (optional)
  • Candy decorations (mini chocolate chips, colorful candies, edible glitter)

Instructions

  1. Bake the cake according to instructions and let it cool completely. Crumble the cake into fine crumbs.
  2. Add 1/2 cup of frosting and mix until it forms a sticky dough.
  3. Roll the mixture into small snowman shapes by forming a larger ball for the bottom and a smaller one for the head.
  4. Chill the snowmen on a baking sheet for about 30 minutes.
  5. While chilling, melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler.
  6. Dip the end of a lollipop stick into the chocolate and insert it into the snowman. Dip the snowman fully in chocolate.
  7. Decorate with candy while the chocolate is still wet.
  8. Let the cake pops dry upright in a Styrofoam block or egg carton.
