Ingredients

- 1 lb Ground Beef (80/20 or 90/10)
- 1 cup Buttermilk Pancake Mix
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 1 Egg (or flax egg for vegan)
- 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter (for cooking)
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- Chives or Parsley (for garnish)
- Maple Syrup (for serving)
Instructions
- Season ground beef with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Divide into golf ball-sized portions.
- In another bowl, mix pancake mix with milk and egg until just combined.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook the beef balls, smashing down with a spatula, for about 3-4 minutes on each side.
- Pour pancake batter onto the skillet, cooking until bubbles form (2-3 minutes), then flip.
- On each plate, stack two pancakes with a beef patty in between and drizzle with syrup.
Notes
Keep pancakes warm in a low oven. Add fresh herbs or cheese for extra flavor.
