Description

Delightful blondies with rich, buttery flavors, sweet salted caramel, and a crunch from pretzels—perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups pretzels, chopped
  • 1 cup salted caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  3. Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, then stir in brown and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Once slightly cooled, whisk in eggs one at a time and add vanilla extract.
  5. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour and salt, then mix into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in half of the chopped pretzels.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan, drizzle with caramel sauce, and swirl with a knife. Top with remaining pretzels and a sprinkle of sea salt.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  9. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to keep the blondies fudgy. Let cool completely before cutting.
