Instructions
- Prepare Your Baking Dish: Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish with butter or line it with parchment paper for easier removal.
- Make the Peanut Butter Base: Blend together the softened butter and peanut butter until smooth. Gradually add both sugars until light and creamy.
- Combine with Sweetened Condensed Milk: Stir in the sweetened condensed milk for creaminess.
- Spread in the Prepared Dish: Pour the mixture into the greased dish, spreading it evenly.
- Prepare the Caramel Topping: In a saucepan over medium heat, melt butter and brown sugar together. Once bubbly, stir in sweetened condensed milk and vanilla. Simmer until thickened, about 5 to 7 minutes.
- Layer the Caramel: Pour the caramel over the peanut butter base and spread gently.
- Chill: Place in the fridge for 1 to 2 hours to firm up before cutting.
