- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- Chocolate kisses, for topping
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and egg until well combined.
- Gradually add flour and baking soda to the mixture and stir until combined.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough and roll into balls; place on the prepared baking sheet with space in between.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until edges are golden.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after removing from the oven.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a chewier cookie, consider chilling the dough before baking. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
