Instructions

  2. Cream together the softened unsalted butter and maple syrup until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then incorporate the milk and mix until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and spices. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until no visible flour streaks remain.
