A delightful blend of sweet and savory marinated beef served over rice with colorful sautéed vegetables.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ribeye or sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
- 2 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 cup mushrooms (shiitake or button), sliced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 2 scallions, chopped
- 1 carrot, shredded
- 2 cups cooked rice (white or brown)
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, ginger, and sesame oil until the sugar dissolves.
- Add the thinly sliced beef into the marinade and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes or overnight in the refrigerator.
- In a skillet over medium heat, add oil and sauté the mushrooms and other vegetables until crisp-tender; set aside.
- In the same skillet, stir-fry the marinated beef, cooking for about 3-5 minutes until caramelized.
- Spoon cooked rice into bowls and top with the sautéed beef and vegetables; garnish with scallions and sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
