- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons butter or oil (for brushing)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Make a well in the center and add the cottage cheese and warm water.
- Mix with your hands until a shaggy dough forms.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 to 7 minutes until soft.
- Let the dough rest for at least 30 minutes.
- Divide the dough into smaller balls and roll them out to desired thickness.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook each naan for about 2–3 minutes on each side until golden.
- Brush the cooked naan with melted butter or olive oil and serve warm.
Notes
You can substitute Greek yogurt for cottage cheese and try adding herbs like rosemary or parsley for extra flavor.
