- 2 cups cranberries (fresh or canned)
- 2 jalapeños, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup cilantro, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Rinse and sort the cranberries, discarding any that are mushy.
- Chop the jalapeños finely, wearing gloves if necessary.
- Soften the cream cheese by setting it out for 30 minutes or microwaving for 15 seconds.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese and sour cream; mix until smooth.
- Add the jalapeños, cranberries, garlic, lime juice, and cilantro to the bowl. Blend well.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
- Transfer to a serving bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow flavors to meld.
- Serve with vegetable sticks, tortilla chips, or crackers.
