- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease your donut pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gradually combine wet and dry ingredients, stirring gently. Fold in blueberries.
- Fill each cavity of the donut pan about 3/4 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 5 minutes then transfer to a wire rack.
- Dust with powdered sugar or drizzle with glaze before serving.
