Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  3. In a clean bowl, whip the egg whites until frothy, then add a pinch of salt.
  4. Gradually add granulated sugar and whip until stiff peaks form and mixture is glossy.
  5. Fold in sifted powdered sugar and lemon juice gently.
  6. Pipe wreath shapes onto baking sheets or dollop them with a spoon.
  7. Bake for 2-3 hours until firm and dry; leave in the oven to cool.
  8. Whip heavy cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  9. Lift meringues off parchment, top with whipped cream, and decorate with berries.
