A delightful dessert that combines the classic taste of Oreos with a rich, moist cake, topped with creamy frosting for a perfect Halloween treat.


Ingredients

  • 20 Oreo cookies (regular or Halloween-themed)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 8 crushed Oreo cookies (for batter)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  3. Crush 20 Oreo cookies and mix with melted butter; press this into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  4. In a mixing bowl, beat together the eggs, sugar, and vanilla. Gradually mix in cocoa powder and baking powder.
  5. Fold in 8 crushed Oreos into your batter and pour over the crust layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the center is set but slightly soft.
  7. While cooling, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Once cooled, frost the bars and add crushed Oreos or sprinkles if desired.
  9. Lift out of the pan and cut into squares.

Notes

You can substitute regular Oreos for gluten-free or dairy-free options. Allow bars to cool completely before frosting to maintain texture.
