  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

Delightful brownie bites filled with tart cherries and smothered in silky chocolate, perfect for any celebration.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1 cup fresh cherries (or jarred maraschino cherries)
  • 1 cup chocolate wafers (dark chocolate recommended)
  • 1/2 cup butter (or coconut oil for vegan version)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Brownie Base: Follow the instructions on your brownie mix. Melt the butter and combine it with eggs and the mix, folding in the cherries gently.
  2. Bake and Cool: Pour the mixture into a greased pan and bake according to package instructions. Once done, let them cool completely.
  3. Forming the Bombs: Cut the brownies into small squares and roll each square into a ball.
  4. Melt the Chocolate: Melt your chocolate wafers until smooth, adding a little coconut oil for a silkier texture.
  5. Dip the Bombs: Dip each brownie ball into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated, then place them on parchment paper to set.
  6. Chill and Enjoy: Allow the chocolate to set completely, chilling in the fridge if desired.

Notes

For a unique twist, sprinkle chopped nuts or sea salt on top of the chocolate as it sets. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days, or freeze for up to two months.
