Ingredients

  • 1 box brownie mix
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Water (as directed on brownie mix)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine brownie mix, eggs, melted butter, and water according to package instructions.
  3. In another bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla and egg, mixing well.
  4. Gradually mix in flour and chocolate chips to form cookie dough.
  5. In a muffin tin, place a tablespoon of brownie batter, then a round scoop of cookie dough, and cover with more brownie batter.
  6. Bake for 18-22 minutes, checking for doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
  8. Enjoy warm for the best taste!
