Description

A heartwarming dish featuring juicy chicken thighs enveloped in a rich, creamy garlic sauce that brings comfort and flavor to your table.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh thyme and parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt a tablespoon of butter. Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then sear in the skillet for 5-7 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add the remaining butter, and sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and deglaze the pan, then slowly add the heavy cream. Stir and bring to a gentle simmer.
  4. Return chicken thighs to the skillet, spoon the sauce over them, and let simmer on low heat for about 10 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  5. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve hot over rice, pasta, or your favorite side dish.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or a non-dairy alternative. Adding vegetables like spinach or mushrooms can enhance flavor and nutrition.
