Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground chicken, minced garlic, spices, chopped onion, and breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper. Mix until just combined.
  2. Wet your hands and shape the mixture into small, elongated meatballs or oval-shaped patties.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add a drizzle of olive oil. Cook the kofta in batches for about 3-5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. While the kofta is cooking, mix Greek yogurt with minced garlic, lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Adjust to taste.
  5. Serve the kofta on a platter drizzled with garlic yogurt, garnished with fresh herbs. Enjoy with warm pita or salad.
