Description
A comforting blend of tender chicken and fresh broccoli, flavored with garlic and soy sauce, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs), sliced into bite-sized pieces
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced (or 1/4 teaspoon powdered)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: chili flakes for heat, toasted sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Wash the broccoli and cut it into small, bite-sized florets. Mince the garlic and chop the ginger. Slice the chicken into even pieces.
- Heat the Oil: In a large skillet or wok, add olive oil over medium-high heat and let it get hot.
- Cook the Chicken: Add chicken to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and sauté until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add Garlic and Broccoli: Lower the heat slightly, then add minced garlic and broccoli. Stir and cook for another 3-4 minutes until broccoli is bright green and tender-crisp.
- Season: Drizzle with soy sauce and add any additional seasonings. Stir to combine and heat through for another minute.
- Serve: Serve as is or over rice, quinoa, or noodles for a heartier meal.
Notes
Don’t overcrowd the skillet to ensure the chicken gets a nice sear. Keep your veggies crunchy for the best texture.
