Description

Delicious jumbo pasta shells filled with creamy chicken Alfredo mixture, topped with melted cheese and herbs.


Ingredients

  • 12 jumbo pasta shells
  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups Alfredo sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil the jumbo shells in salted water until al dente; drain and cool.
  3. In a bowl, mix cooked chicken, ricotta, half of mozzarella, herbs, garlic, and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fill each shell with the chicken mixture.
  5. Spread some Alfredo sauce in a baking dish; arrange filled shells in a single layer.
  6. Cover filled shells with remaining Alfredo sauce, then sprinkle with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan.
  7. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  8. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it rest for a few minutes before serving and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For variations, consider substituting chicken with sautéed mushrooms or spinach for a vegetarian option.
