- 8 oz cream cheese, softened

- Sugar for sprinkling on top
Instructions
- Prepare the Pie Crust: Combine flour and salt in a bowl. Cut in butter until crumbly. Add water gradually until dough forms. Chill for 30 minutes.
- Make the Apple Filling: Toss sliced apples with sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. Cook in a skillet for 5-7 minutes until softened. Cool.
- Whip Up the Cheesecake Filling: Beat cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth.
- Assemble the Pies: Roll out dough, cut into circles, add apple filling and cheesecake filling, and crimp edges to seal.
- Bake: Brush pies with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar, and bake at 375°F until golden brown, about 25-30 minutes.
- Serve and Enjoy: Let cool slightly before serving.
