- 1/2 cup cherry soda
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking soda

- 1 cup cherries, fresh or canned
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix in cherry soda until well combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the cherries gently.
- Scoop rounded amounts of dough onto parchment-lined baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden brown and centers look slightly underbaked.
- Allow cooling slightly on baking sheets before transferring to wire racks.
