Description
Delicious burrata pasta shells filled with creamy cheese, sautéed mushrooms, and topped with tomato sauce and Parmesan.
Ingredients

- Large pasta shells
- 8 oz burrata cheese
- 8 oz fresh mushrooms (cremini or shiitake)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups tomato sauce
- Fresh basil, for garnish
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook pasta shells according to package instructions. Drain and toss with olive oil.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Add chopped mushrooms and sauté until golden brown, about 7-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
- Add tomato sauce to the skillet with mushrooms. Stir and let simmer for 5 minutes.
- Stuff each pasta shell with burrata and place in the sauce. Spoon additional sauce over shells.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Top with Parmesan cheese and bake for 15-20 minutes until bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve.
Notes
For variations, feel free to substitute ricotta for burrata, or add sautéed sausage or chicken for extra protein.
