Ingredients

- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup protein powder
- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ cup buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup colorful sprinkles
- Optional: mini chocolate chips or nuts
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a donut pan.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, protein powder, baking powder, and sugar until well-blended.
- In another bowl, beat together the eggs, buttermilk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Slowly add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just combined, then fold in sprinkles.
- Fill the donut molds about 2/3 full.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool, then drizzle with a simple glaze and add more sprinkles on top.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days or refrigerate for a week. Can be frozen for up to three months.
