  • Author: joe
  • Total Time: 45 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A delightful combination of gooey Brie cheese wrapped in flaky puff pastry, topped with sweet-tart cranberry sauce—a perfect appetizer for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz Brie Cheese
  • 1 cup Cranberry Sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry
  • 1 Egg (beaten, for egg wash)
  • Optional: Fresh herbs (thyme or rosemary), honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface to about 1/8 inch thick.
  3. Place the round of Brie in the center of the pastry and spoon a generous amount of cranberry sauce on top.
  4. Gently fold the pastry around the Brie, tucking it in to ensure no cheese escapes during baking.
  5. Brush the outside of the pastry with the egg wash.
  6. Transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is gooey.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Pair with crackers or sliced baguette.

Notes

For the best results, let your Brie sit at room temperature for about 30 minutes before baking.
