Ingredients

  • Hearty bread (sourdough or whole grain)
  • Ripe avocados
  • Fresh large eggs
  • Cremini or shiitake mushrooms
  • Milk or cream
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, cilantro, or chives)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the bread into one-inch thick pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.
  3. Sauté the sliced mushrooms in olive oil until golden brown, seasoning with salt and pepper.
