Instructions

  1. Prep the Chicken: Rinse and pat dry the chicken thighs.
  2. Mix the Marinade: Combine gochujang, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger in a bowl and stir until combined.
  3. Marinate: Coat chicken thighs in the marinade and let sit for 30 minutes.
  4. Cooking Time: Heat sesame oil in a skillet over medium heat, and sear the thighs for 5-6 minutes per side until golden brown.
  5. Baste and Cook Through: Pour any remaining marinade over the chicken. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (about 10-15 minutes).
  6. Rest and Garnish: Let chicken rest for a few minutes, then garnish with chopped scallions or sesame seeds before serving.
