- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs

- Powdered sugar (for frosting)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream together the butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
- Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading. Optionally, roll in sugar.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
- Prepare frosting by beating together softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Frost cooled cookies and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top if desired.
- Serve warm or at room temperature.
