  • 2 large eggs

  • Powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter, cream cheese, granulated sugar, and brown sugar in a mixing bowl until light and fluffy (3-5 minutes).
  3. Add in the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and cinnamon. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space for spreading. Optionally, roll in sugar.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  7. Prepare frosting by beating together softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Frost cooled cookies and sprinkle a bit of cinnamon on top if desired.
