  • 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 cups chicken broth

  • 2 stalks celery, diced
  • 1 cup peas (optional)
  • 2 tsp fresh thyme, chopped

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

  2. Add chopped onions and garlic to the pot and sauté until translucent.
  3. Add diced carrots and celery, cooking until slightly softened.
  4. Add the seasoned chicken pieces to the pot and allow them to brown slightly.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and bring everything to a gentle simmer.
  6. Stir in the heavy cream and fresh herbs.
  7. Add the crispy bacon and peas, warming through.
  8. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve warm, garnishing with fresh parsley.
