- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda

- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup buttermilk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the sugar and cocoa powder, then whisk in flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and peanut butter until smooth.
- Combine wet and dry ingredients, folding gently until just mixed.
- Stir in chocolate chips and pour the batter into the baking pan.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- While the cake bakes, make the peanut butter sauce by heating peanut butter, milk, and sugar in a saucepan until smooth.
- Let the cake cool for 10 minutes, then drizzle with peanut butter sauce and optional toppings.
- Cool completely, cut into squares, and serve.
