Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground meat (beef, pork, chicken, or turkey)
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (fresh or dried)
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 12 soft butter rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, herbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly without over-mixing.
  3. Form the mixture into meatballs (about 2 tablespoons each) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
  5. Slice butter rolls in half and warm in the oven during the last few minutes of meatball baking.
  6. Assemble sliders by placing a meatball on the bottom half of each roll, topping with cranberry sauce, and closing with the top half of the roll.
  7. Serve and enjoy, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or hot sauce.
