- 1 pound ground meat (beef, pork, chicken, or turkey)
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (fresh or dried)
- 1 large egg
- 2 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 12 soft butter rolls
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, garlic, onion, herbs, egg, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly without over-mixing.
- Form the mixture into meatballs (about 2 tablespoons each) and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and browned.
- Slice butter rolls in half and warm in the oven during the last few minutes of meatball baking.
- Assemble sliders by placing a meatball on the bottom half of each roll, topping with cranberry sauce, and closing with the top half of the roll.
- Serve and enjoy, optionally garnished with fresh herbs or hot sauce.
