  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Gluten-Free (with modifications)

Description

Juicy, sweet, and irresistible meatballs infused with cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground meat (beef and pork, or turkey/chicken for a lighter option)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or high-quality store-bought)
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1 tsp thyme
  • 1 tsp rosemary
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, cranberry sauce, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, herbs, and spices. Mix gently.
  3. Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through (165°F/74°C).
  5. For added flavor, toss the meatballs in a skillet with a splash of cranberry sauce and sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender. Let rest after cooking for juiciness.
