Description
Juicy, sweet, and irresistible meatballs infused with cranberries, perfect for holiday gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ground meat (beef and pork, or turkey/chicken for a lighter option)
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or high-quality store-bought)
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp rosemary
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground meat, cranberry sauce, onion, garlic, breadcrumbs, herbs, and spices. Mix gently.
- Roll the mixture into golf ball-sized meatballs and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until browned and cooked through (165°F/74°C).
- For added flavor, toss the meatballs in a skillet with a splash of cranberry sauce and sprinkle with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep meatballs tender. Let rest after cooking for juiciness.
