Ingredients

- 1 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
- 2 cups cranberry juice
- Whole cranberries
- Orange slices
- Pomegranate seeds
- 4–5 whole cloves
- 2–3 cinnamon sticks
- Optional: star anise
- Sweetener: honey, maple syrup, or simple syrup, to taste
- Chilled ginger ale or sparkling cider
- Optional: splash of vodka, rum, or bourbon
Instructions
- Juice fresh oranges and measure out 1 cup of orange juice and 2 cups of cranberry juice.
- In a large punch bowl, mix the orange juice and cranberry juice together.
- Add whole cranberries, orange slices, and pomegranate seeds for flavor and presentation.
- Infuse with whole cloves, cinnamon sticks, and star anise, allowing to steep for at least 30 minutes.
- Sweeten to taste with honey or simple syrup, stirring well.
- Add chilled ginger ale or sparkling cider just before serving.
- Pour into glasses and garnish with fruit slices or fresh mint.
Notes
For a warm version, heat juices and spices on low until hot, but not boiling.
