- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 2–4 tablespoons ice water
- 8 ounces cream cheese or Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1–2 finely chopped jalapeños
- Fresh cilantro or parsley (optional)
- 2 eggs
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and butter; blend until coarse crumbs form. Add salt and ice water to form dough.
- Roll out dough and cut into circles to fit tartlet pans; press into the pans.
- Mix cream cheese and sugar until smooth; stir in cranberries and jalapeños, then add herbs.
- Beat eggs and fold into the filling mixture.
- Spoon filling into crusts and bake for 20-25 minutes until set and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a vegan option, consider using coconut oil or vegan butter for the crust and a flaxseed egg for binding.
