Description

A light, airy dessert that captures the essence of autumn with its creamy pumpkin flavor and warm spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream for a dairy-free option)
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (or maple syrup)
  • 2 egg whites (or aquafaba for a vegan option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon clove

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine pumpkin puree, sugar, vanilla extract, and spices.
  2. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, whisk egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the whipped cream and egg whites into the pumpkin mixture.
  5. Spoon the mixture into individual serving cups and tap gently to release air bubbles.
  6. Chill in the refrigerator for at least two hours.
  7. Serve topped with whipped cream and a sprinkle of nutmeg.

Notes

Use fresh spices for the best flavor and allow the mousse to chill adequately for optimal taste.
