Description
A delightful dish that combines succulent pork chops with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
- Fresh thyme or herbs of choice for garnish
Instructions
- Season pork chops generously with salt and black pepper on both sides. Let them sit at room temperature for 15 minutes.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the chops from the skillet and set aside. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium-low, add more butter if needed, and stir in minced garlic. Cook until fragrant.
- Pour in the honey and soy sauce, stirring constantly. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them with the sauce. Cook for another minute to absorb the flavors.
- Garnish with fresh thyme and serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
Notes
For extra flavor, marinate the pork chops in the honey and soy sauce mixture for a couple of hours before cooking.
