Description

A comforting and creamy orzo dish featuring fresh spinach and Parmesan cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Orzo Pasta
  • 2 cups Fresh Spinach
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth
  • Salt and Pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the Orzo according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
  3. Pour in the broth and heavy cream, then gradually stir in the Parmesan until melted and smooth.
  4. Add the cooked orzo to the skillet, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs and extra Parmesan.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half or milk for heavy cream. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice can enhance the flavors.
