- 1 cup Orzo Pasta
- 2 cups Fresh Spinach
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 1 cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth
- Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the Orzo according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes, then add fresh spinach and cook until wilted.
- Pour in the broth and heavy cream, then gradually stir in the Parmesan until melted and smooth.
- Add the cooked orzo to the skillet, mix well, and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve warm, garnished with fresh herbs and extra Parmesan.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half or milk for heavy cream. Adding a squeeze of lemon juice can enhance the flavors.
