Description

A beautifully cooked Beef Tenderloin, seasoned and roasted to perfection, perfect for gatherings and family celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 Beef Tenderloin (about 2 pounds)
  • 4 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Season the Beef Tenderloin generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a heavy, oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the tenderloin on all sides (about 3-4 minutes each) until browned.
  4. Add minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme during the last minute of searing.
  5. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for 20-25 minutes for medium-rare. Aim for an internal temperature of 120°F (49°C).
  6. Add butter halfway through to baste the meat.
  7. Remove from the oven, cover with foil, and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Slice against the grain and serve on a platter drizzled with pan juices.

Notes

Pair with sautéed garlic mushrooms, roasted asparagus, or creamy mashed potatoes for a delightful meal.
