Description

Deliciously sweet and crunchy pecans, perfect for salads or as a standalone snack, made with simple ingredients.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pecans
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat and add the pecans, stirring to coat.
  3. Sprinkle in the sugar and pinch of salt, and stir until the sugar dissolves.
  4. Continue stirring for about 5 to 7 minutes until the pecans are golden brown.
  5. Spread the pecans on the prepared baking sheet and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool on the pan before serving.

Store in an airtight container for up to two weeks, or freeze for up to three months.
