  • 8 oz mascarpone cheese (or cream cheese)
  • 1 cup whipped cream (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 package graham crackers or chocolate cookies
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • Chocolate shavings or chips for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the crust: Crush the graham crackers or chocolate cookies in a mixing bowl. Mix in melted butter until well combined. Press into a 9×13 inch baking dish to form an even layer.
  2. Make the pudding: In a large bowl, combine the chocolate pudding mix with milk. Whisk until smooth and allow it to thicken in the refrigerator for about five minutes.
  3. Layer the ingredients: Spread half of the pudding mixture over the crust, smoothing it out evenly. Next, layer half of the mascarpone cheese and half of the whipped cream. Repeat with another layer of crust, pudding, and mascarpone mix.
  4. Chill and serve: Cover with plastic wrap and let chill in the fridge for at least four hours, preferably overnight.
  5. Finishing touches: Before serving, top with chocolate shavings or drizzle of chocolate sauce.
