Ingredients
- Fresh crab meat
- Linguine
- Fresh minced garlic
- Fresh parsley
- Butter
- Olive oil
- Lemon juice
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook the linguine until al dente, according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Reduce heat and fold in crab meat, warming it for about 2-3 minutes.
- Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the linguine. Toss it into the skillet with the crab mixture, adding a splash of reserved water.
- Squeeze in lemon juice and add chopped parsley. Toss gently to combine, adjusting seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
- Serve immediately with additional herbs and a lemon wedge.
Notes
Taste as you go and adjust seasoning accordingly. Reserve pasta water for the sauce consistency.
