Description

A quick and delightful dish combining al dente linguine with sweet crab meat and aromatic garlic, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

  • Fresh crab meat
  • Linguine
  • Fresh minced garlic
  • Fresh parsley
  • Butter
  • Olive oil
  • Lemon juice
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook the linguine until al dente, according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt butter and olive oil. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Reduce heat and fold in crab meat, warming it for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Reserve a cup of pasta water, then drain the linguine. Toss it into the skillet with the crab mixture, adding a splash of reserved water.
  5. Squeeze in lemon juice and add chopped parsley. Toss gently to combine, adjusting seasoning with salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired.
  6. Serve immediately with additional herbs and a lemon wedge.

Notes

Taste as you go and adjust seasoning accordingly. Reserve pasta water for the sauce consistency.
