  • Author: joe
  • Total Time: 25 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Seafood

Description

A simple yet luxurious dish that combines the sweetness of crab with the richness of garlic and butter, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine (fresh or dried)
  • 12 oz lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 cup dry white wine
  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
  • 1/4 tsp chili flakes
  • Salt (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until translucent, being careful not to brown it.
  3. Add dry white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes to cook off the alcohol.
  4. Stir in the lump crab meat, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Fold in the cooked linguine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve a loose sauce.
  5. Toss in chopped parsley just before serving.
  6. Plate immediately, garnishing with lemon wedges and extra chili flakes if desired.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the garlic or lemon to match your taste. Consider shrimp as a substitute for crab, or omit the protein for a vegetarian option.
