Description
A simple yet luxurious dish that combines the sweetness of crab with the richness of garlic and butter, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 oz linguine (fresh or dried)
- 12 oz lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 3 cloves garlic (minced)
- 4 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- Salt (to taste)
Instructions
- Cook the linguine in salted boiling water according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve a cup of pasta water before draining.
- Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until translucent, being careful not to brown it.
- Add dry white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes to cook off the alcohol.
- Stir in the lump crab meat, lemon juice, and chili flakes. Fold in the cooked linguine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve a loose sauce.
- Toss in chopped parsley just before serving.
- Plate immediately, garnishing with lemon wedges and extra chili flakes if desired.
Notes
Feel free to adjust the garlic or lemon to match your taste. Consider shrimp as a substitute for crab, or omit the protein for a vegetarian option.
