Ingredients

  • Slider buns (or pretzel bread)
  • Good-quality deli ham
  • Swiss or cheddar cheese
  • Butter
  • Brown sugar
  • Garlic powder
  • Mustard
  • Coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a baking dish, slice your pretzel buns in half horizontally. Lay the bottom halves in the dish and layer on ham and cheese.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in brown sugar, garlic powder, and mustard until combined.
  4. Pour the melted butter mixture evenly over the sliders.
  5. Sprinkle coarse sea salt on top.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 15-20 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the tops are golden and cheese is melted.
  7. Let cool for a few minutes, slice, and serve.
