Ingredients

  • ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup crushed Oreos (for topping)
  • 1 cup marshmallow fluff (for frosting)
  • 2 cups powdered sugar (for frosting)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time and the vanilla extract; beat well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients, alternating with milk, until smooth.
  6. Line a cupcake pan with liners and fill each cup 2/3 full with batter.
  7. Bake for 18–20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean; cool completely.
  8. For frosting, beat butter until creamy and gradually add powdered sugar; fold in marshmallow fluff.
  9. Pipe frosting onto cooled cupcakes.
  10. Sprinkle crushed Oreos on top and serve.

Notes

Let cupcakes cool completely before frosting to maintain the shape of the frosting.
