Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tsp peppermint extract
  • 12 oz semisweet chocolate, melted
  • 1/2 cup crushed candy canes for topping

Instructions

  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  4. Form the chilled mixture into 1-inch balls.
  5. Melt the semisweet chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals until smooth.
  6. Dip each truffle ball into the melted chocolate and let the excess drip off.
  7. Sprinkle crushed candy canes on top of the chocolate-coated truffles.
  8. Allow truffles to set at room temperature or refrigerate for quicker solidification.
