Description
Indulge in these festive Christmas Golden Oreo Truffles, combining the buttery flavor of Golden Oreos with a creamy filling and a rich chocolate coating.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package Golden Oreos
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 12 oz white chocolate, melted
- Festive sprinkles for decoration
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace with all ingredients and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crush the Golden Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or a rolling pin in a zip-top bag.
- Mix the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese until well combined, achieving a dough-like consistency.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized portions and roll into smooth balls, placing them on the baking sheet. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl at 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each truffle in melted chocolate and allow excess to drip off before placing back on the baking sheet.
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle with festive decorations.
- Chill until the chocolate is set, about 30 minutes, before serving.
Notes
For a twist, try using regular Oreos or experimenting with different chocolate types. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to a week, or freeze for up to three months.
