These Easy Pecan Pie Bars offer a delightful blend of buttery crust and rich, gooey pecan filling, making them a perfect treat for gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups pecans, chopped or halved
- 3 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, and flour until crumbly. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan and bake for about 15 minutes until golden.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, brown sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until fully combined. Stir in the toasted pecans.
- Once the crust has cooled slightly, pour the pecan filling over it and spread evenly. Return to the oven for 25–30 minutes, until filling is set and slightly bubbly.
- Let the bars cool completely in the pan, then slice into squares. Dust with powdered sugar for an elegant finish.
Notes
Using freshly toasted pecans enhances flavor. Be sure to cool the bars completely before slicing to maintain their shape.
