Ingredients

  • 4 Bone-in, skin-on chicken legs
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil or Avocado oil
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh rosemary, thyme or parsley

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Pat the chicken legs dry with paper towels.
  3. In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, salt, pepper, and chosen herbs. Mix well and massage into chicken legs.
  4. Place the legs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for about 35-40 minutes or until the skin is golden brown and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C). Broil for extra crispiness, watching closely.
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, try a splash of hot sauce or a teaspoon of honey in the seasoning blend. Always ensure chicken is at room temperature before cooking for even results.
